HARTFORD — Aetna Medicaid announced on LinkedIn the appointment of Lisa Baird as the Chief Executive Officer of Aetna Better Health of Missouri and Corey Pleasants has been appointed CEO of Aetna Better Health of Pennsylvania. Baird brings nearly 20 years of experience leading the operations of Aetna Medicaid health plans across multiple markets, developing programs to improve health outcomes.
She is a Missouri resident and trusted Aetna leader. She’ll lead strategic and operational priorities, remaining focused on community impact and connection. will lead strategies that strengthen clinical outcomes, advance provider partnerships and deepen our community impact across the state.
Pleasants brings more than 15 years of experience supporting Medicaid populations, and his combination of public sector leadership and health plan expertise positions him well to build on the plan’s strong foundation. Corey most recently served as chief operating officer of Aetna Better Health of Virginia.
The Aetna, a CVS Health Company, team looks forward to working with Lisa and Corey to support the health and well-being of Missouri’s Medicaid population.
