Ampelis introduces CORE7 nutrition drink mix for children

CORE7 for Kids was developed with individual ingredient amounts evaluated for growing children.

HIGHLAND, Utah – Ampelis is expanding its CORE7 nutritional supplement line with CORE7 for Kids, a whole-food-based powder drink mix formulated for children ages 5 and older.

Scheduled to launch in early November, the product contains more than 50 nutritional and functional ingredients, including vitamins, minerals, probiotics, prebiotic fiber, digestive enzymes and botanicals. The company says the formulation supports children’s nutritional needs, digestive health, immune function and overall well-being.

Unlike a scaled-down version of its adult formula, CORE7 for Kids was developed with individual ingredient amounts evaluated for growing children. The product features a fruit-forward flavor combining organic strawberry, raspberry and coconut, developed with feedback from children.

“Children aren’t just smaller adults, and their nutrition shouldn’t be treated that way,” said Tanna Fox, an international sports certified nutritionist and CORE7 Advisory Board member. “Growing bodies have distinct nutritional needs. Our approach was to carefully evaluate each ingredient rather than simply reduce everything by the same percentage.”

The launch comes amid heightened attention to childhood nutrition and ultra-processed food consumption. According to CDC research cited by Ampelis, ultra-processed foods accounted for 61.9% of calories consumed by U.S. children and adolescents between 2021 and 2023.

Ampelis said the product draws on its experience in integrative psychiatry, addiction recovery and mental-performance coaching, where nutrition and lifestyle interventions have been central to its approach.

“We spend enormous energy helping children succeed academically, athletically, and emotionally. But we need to be equally serious about the biological foundations that support their development,” said Lon Henderson, CEO of Ampelis.

Beyond the supplement itself, the company is incorporating nutrition education, free group coaching and community support for subscribers. Ampelis emphasizes that CORE7 for Kids is meant to complement a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle, not replace nutritious foods.

CORE7 for Kids will be available through getcore7.com, with serving recommendations and subscription details provided at launch.
