BEDMINSTER, NJ — Ascend Laboratories has appointed Michelle Aniceto as vice president of national accounts, strengthening the company’s leadership team as it expands its presence in institutional, hospital and specialty markets.
Aniceto joined Ascend on June 1 and will lead the company’s national accounts strategy across the institutional marketplace. In her new role, she will support Ascend’s growing injectable portfolio, upcoming product launches and key customer relationships.
She brings more than two decades of experience in retail pharmacy, sourcing and pharmaceutical procurement. Aniceto began her career at Target and spent 15 years at CVS Health, where she advanced through a series of leadership roles.
In 2020, she joined Red Oak Sourcing, the joint procurement venture of CVS Health and Cardinal Health. Most recently, she served as senior director of strategic pharmaceutical sourcing, leading teams responsible for supplier partnerships, sourcing initiatives and customer engagement.
Ascend said Aniceto's experience across retail, sourcing and strategic procurement will help drive the company's growth in institutional channels and support its expanding portfolio of products.
The appointment comes as Ascend continues to invest in its injectable business and broaden its reach across health system, hospital and specialty pharmacy customers.

Aniceto officially assumed her new role on June 1.
