BEDMINSTER, NJ - Ascend Laboratories announced the promotion of Lynette Piers to Vice President, National Accounts, recognizing her longstanding contributions to the company and extensive experience across the healthcare distribution industry.
Piers has been with Ascend since the company launched into the marketplace in 2008, taking on accounts with increasing levels of responsibility over the years. Prior to joining Ascend, she held positions at Moore Medical, which was acquired by McKesson in 1997, and later at Medical Specialty, which merged with Ascend in late 2007.
In her expanded role, Piers will continue managing several of the company’s key national accounts while leveraging her industry expertise to strengthen customer relationships and drive business growth.
Ascend Laboratories has grown into one of the generic pharmaceutical industry’s leading suppliers to drug chains, wholesalers, mail-order providers, and other organizations serving the generic drug marketplace.
