With the two new products, Bell Pharmaceuticals said it’s “charting a path comparable to the countrywide distribution of the Jet-Alert brand.” The caffeine tablet brand is carried by nearly 20 retail chains and distributed by key food and drug wholesalers.

Jet-Asleep is a fast-acting nighttime sleep aid in a small-tablet form that’s twice the strength (50 mg diphenhydramine) as other tablet formulas, according to Bell Pharmaceuticals. A motion sickness aid, Jet-Avert provides all-day protection against nausea, dizziness and vomiting in a less-drowsy 25-mg meclizine hydrochloride formula, the company said.

Available in the analgesics aisle, both products provide affordable brand pricing and come in a 100-count size for the frequent user and in a 24-count size for the opening price-point shopper, Bell Pharmaceuticals added.

Jet-Asleep and Jet-Avert, as well as the Jet-Alert line, will be showcased in Bell Pharmaceuticals exhibit booth (No. 1764) at the 2016 NACDS Total Store Expo, which runs Aug. 6 to 9 at the Boston Convention Center.
