PISCATAWAY, N.J. — Camber Pharmaceuticals has expanded its generic drug portfolio with the rollout of valacyclovir and donepezil HCl tablets.
The company said Wednesday that its valacyclovir product is a generic version of GlaxoSmithKline’s Valtrex, while its donepezil HCl product is a generic of Eisai Co.’s Aricept.
Valacyclovir is indicated for the treatment of herpes virus infection. Donepezil HCl is used to treat the symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease.
Camber said its valacyclovir tablets come in strengths of 500 mg and 1,000 mg, both available in 30- and 90-count bottles. The donepezil HCl tablets are offered in 5-mg and 10-mg dosages, with both available in 30- and 90-count bottles.
