Circana and Sally Beauty Holdings launch supply chain collaboration platform

CHICAGO — Circana has formed a multiyear strategic partnership with Sally Beauty Holdings to develop a collaborative supply chain solution aimed at enhancing inventory management, supplier coordination, and product availability throughout the retailer’s network.

Under the agreement, Sally Beauty and its Beauty Systems Group (BSG) division will implement Circana’s supply chain insights platform, which offers daily operational data and analytics to assist internal teams and supplier partners in improving planning and execution. The platform seeks to enhance service levels, strengthen inventory flow, and increase on-shelf availability across Sally Beauty’s stores and distribution channels.

Bryan DeYoung, senior vice president of merchandising operations and business services at Sally Beauty Holdings, said the collaboration aims to support both growth and operational efficiency. The system merges supply chain data into a shared platform accessible to internal teams and supplier partners, fostering greater transparency and enabling more coordinated decision-making.

“Our collaborative program with Circana will drive top- and bottom-line growth by unlocking opportunities to improve the efficiency of our supply chain and product availability across both our Sally Beauty and BSG businesses,” DeYoung said.

Through the platform, suppliers will gain access to actionable insights designed to support inventory planning, promotion management, and daily supply chain operations. The goal is to help suppliers respond more quickly to demand changes while reducing inefficiencies across the network.
