NEW YORK — Colgate-Palmolive Co. has appointed three of its senior executives to new positions.
The consumer products giant said Monday that P. Justin Skala has been named as chief operating officer for North America, Europe, Africa/Eurasia and Global Sustainability; Noel Wallace as COO of Global Innovation & Growth and Hill’s Pet Nutrition; and Franck Moison as vice chairman overseeing Colgate-Palmolive’s business in Asia Pacific and Latin America, as well as its business development efforts.
Skala, Wallace and Moison are slated to start in their new roles on April 1. The appointments were announced along with news of the departure of Fabian Garcia, formerly COO of Global Innovation & Growth, Europe/South Pacific and Hill’s Pet Nutrition, who has been hired by Revlon Inc. as president and chief executive officer.
Most recently, Skala, 56, served as president of Colgate-North America and Global Sustainability. He previously was president of Colgate-Latin America from July 2010 through September 2013. His earlier assignments include senior marketing and general management roles at Colgate and Hill’s in the United States, Asia and Europe. He joined the company in 1982.
Wallace’s new role also includes leadership of Colgate-Palmolive’s Global Marketing, Research and Development, Global Manufacturing and Customer Development organizations. The 51-year-old Wallace was most recently president of Colgate-Latin America and previously served as president of Colgate-North America and Global Sustainability from February 2010 to September 2013. Before that, his assignments included senior marketing and general management roles in the United States, Latin America, South Africa and Central Europe. He joined Colgate in 1987.
Moison, 62, has been COO for Emerging Markets and Business Development since December 2013. He first took on COO responsibilities in January 2012, following senior marketing and general management roles in the United States and Europe, including as president of Colgate-Europe. He joined the company in 1978.

Given their past records of success, we are confident that their new assignments will help us further strengthen our worldwide capabilities and advance our business strategy,” stated Ian Cook, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Colgate-Palmolive.
Cook also congratulated Garcia on his new role. “We offer sincere thanks to Fabian for over a decade of contributions to Colgate and wish him every success as he takes on his new responsibilities,” Cook commented.
Colgate-Palmolive’s roster of products spans oral care, personal care, home care and pet nutrition and includes such brands as Colgate, Palmolive, Softsoap, Irish Spring, Protex, Sorriso, Kolynos, elmex, Tom’s of Maine, Sanex, Ajax, Axion, Soupline and Suavitel, as well as Hill’s Science Diet, Hill’s Prescription Diet and Hill’s Ideal Balance.
