WOONSOCKET, R.I. — With consumers making more sustainable choices, CVS Pharmacy recently launched an assortment of reusable storage bags and compostable dinnerware within its Total Home and Total Home Earth Essentials lines. These convenient, affordable and environmentally conscious products are smart options for shoppers who seek eco-friendly products for their home or on-the go. These collections follow the April launch of CVS’ new Gold Emblem Refillable Purified Water in a reusable and recyclable aluminum bottle.

These latest innovations reinforce CVS’ goal to reduce single-use plastic in store brands packaging and use in operations by 50% by 2030, with the overarching aim of its store brands packaging to be 100% reusable, recyclable, and compostable or returned to a local CVS store to be properly disposed of by 2030.

“We know that consumers are actively seeking ways to make more sustainable choices,” said Matthew Thorsen, director, Store Brands Packaging at CVS Health. “With the launch of this curated assortment of eco-conscious products, our shoppers can now find the convenient and affordable alternatives they’re looking for at their local CVS Pharmacy,” he added.
