CVS Pharmacy becomes health and wellness partner of LOVB

The multiyear partnership will support athletes and families through health programming and community engagement.

LOS ANGELES — CVS Pharmacy has been named an Official Health & Wellness Partner of League One Volleyball (LOVB) through a multiyear sponsorship covering the organization’s professional and youth volleyball programs.

The agreement makes CVS Pharmacy, the retail division of CVS Health, LOVB’s inaugural league-wide jersey patch sponsor. Beginning with the upcoming season, the CVS logo will appear on the front of jerseys for all LOVB Pro teams.

The partnership marks LOVB's first league-wide on-uniform sponsorship and CVS Pharmacy's first league-wide jersey patch sponsorship.

“LOVB’s unique approach to combining sport, wellness, and community engagement reflects the values that drive CVS Pharmacy’s commitment to supporting healthier communities,” said Sid Tenneti, senior vice president and interim president, Pharmacy and Consumer Wellness, CVS Health. “Together, we can help inspire and support athletes and families nationwide by investing in programs that strengthen physical and mental well-being, build community, and create opportunities for young people to thrive.”

CVS Pharmacy and LOVB will also develop health-focused programming to reach professional athletes, youth players, families, and fans.

Through LOVB Notes presented by CVS, professional players will share advice, lessons and personal stories with younger volleyball players. CVS Pharmacy Convenience Corner activations at select LOVB Club tournaments will provide athletes, families and coaches with access to everyday essentials while traveling and competing.

CVS will also support LOVB Cares, the league’s community initiative, through service and colleague engagement in communities throughout the LOVB network.

“Volleyball is about more than what happens on the court. It’s about building healthy communities, supporting athletes through every stage of their journey, and creating connections that last beyond the game,” said Michelle McGoldrick, chief business officer of League One Volleyball.

The sponsorship gives CVS a presence across LOVB’s professional and club platforms, including in-venue experiences, digital content, broadcast integrations, and community programming. LOVB said its broader ecosystem reaches more than 30,000 athletes and families.

LOVB launched its professional league in January 2025 and is entering its third season. Its professional network comprises teams in Atlanta, Austin, Houston, Los Angeles, Madison, Miami, Minnesota, Nebraska, Salt Lake City, and San Francisco.
