WOONSOCKET, R.I. — CVS Health joined community members to celebrate the grand opening of a new CVS Pharmacy in Brooklyn last week. Located at 130 5th Avenue, the 9,000-square-foot store features an expanded pharmacy with a private consultation and vaccination area, an enhanced in-store delivery pickup section, and a refreshed layout with updated décor and fixtures.
“We’re excited to welcome customers and patients to our 5th Avenue store,” said Emiliana Chavez, Store Manager, CVS Pharmacy. “Our new location offers neighborhood residents convenient access to household essentials and everyday convenience items. Whether exploring our broad assortment of health and wellness products or picking up a snack or two, we’re confident that shoppers will find what they’re looking for.”

A grand opening celebration was held at the store on Friday, November 7, featuring a DJ, food truck, and product giveaways. The event was open to the community and gave residents an opportunity to get to know the store’s front store and pharmacy teams.

The store is open Sunday – Saturday, 7 a.m. – 10 p.m., and the pharmacy is open Monday – Friday 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Sunday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
