WOONSOCKET, R.I. — CVS Health today announced the reopening of its Pacific Palisades CVS Pharmacy, located at 864 Swarthmore Avenue, which had been closed since January due to wildfires in the area. The reopening marks one of the first business comebacks in the community, restoring access to pharmacy services, health and wellness products, and everyday essentials.
“After months of hard work, we’re thrilled to welcome back customers to our Swarthmore Avenue CVS Pharmacy store,” said Shea Manigo, SVP, Field Operations West, CVS Pharmacy. “From the day the wildfires devastated the area, our commitment to the community has been unwavering, and I want to thank the store team for working tirelessly over the last several months to reopen this location. With community rebuilding efforts underway, we’re focused on ensuring hardworking first responders, construction workers and community members have access to the products they need.”
The renovated store includes an expanded pharmacy with a private consultation and vaccination area, an improved in-store delivery pickup area, and a refreshed layout and fixtures. To meet the needs of its current customer base, particularly construction teams working nearby, the store has expanded its assortment of grab-and-go foods, snacks, and beverages. As more residents return to the Palisades, the assortment will evolve to reflect the community’s needs.

Reopening this store is one more step in rebuilding not just access to what we need, but also a sense of belonging and a community on the rise.”
Since the wildfires, CVS Health has provided more than $2 million in grants and in-kind donations to support affected California communities.
The Swarthmore Avenue store is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The pharmacy operates Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday–Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday–Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
