NEW YORK — Mike De Fazio, senior director of store concepts at Duane Reade, has left the drug chain.
De Fazio played an important part in the development of Duane Reade’s innovative store designs, including the retailer’s flagship outlet at 40 Wall Street in Manhattan.
He also contributed to the evolution of Walgreen Co.’s store formats after that company acquired Duane Reade in 2010.
At RadioShack De Fazio will join Joe Magnacca, who last month resigned as a Walgreens executive vice president and president of daily products and solutions, to become RadioShack’s chief executive officer.
