BUENA PARK, Calif. — Dr. Fresh Inc. has added the Barbie Rotary Toothbrush to its FireFly line of timer toothbrushes for children.
The company said this week that the pink, battery-powered rotary toothbrush employs Dr. Fresh’s signature FireFly light-up timer which, when activated by touching the button, blinks for two minutes so kids brush for an appropriate length of time.
Dr. Fresh also noted that the new Barbie toothbrush features high-speed, dual-action rotary vibrations, which are proven to remove more plaque than a manual toothbrush.
The brush also has a child-friendly design, including a right-sized head and handle and soft, rounded bristles that won’t cut or irritate young gums.
Dr. Fresh said the FireFly Barbie Rotary Toothbrush carries a retail price of $5.99 to $7.99 and is available at Walgreens and H.E. Butt stores.
