MIAMI — Dream Products LLC has entered a national retail alliance with CVS/pharmacy to distribute its Dream Water sleep aid in the sleep section of CVS drug stores.

The company said Tuesday that not even two years after its launch at retail, the Dream Water sleep enhancer has become part of the mix in more than 20,000 stores across the country.

"This is an exciting time for the Dream Water brand," Dream Products partner and chief brand officer Adam Platzner said in a statement. "Less than two years ago, a liquid sleep enhancer didn’t exist. Today, you can walk into your local Walgreens, CVS or Walmart store, among many others, and find Dream Water there."

In addition to CVS, Walgreens and Walmart, Dream Water is available at such drug chains, food and drug retailers, and mass merchants as Duane Reade, Lewis Drug, Wegmans Food Markets, Albertsons LLC, King Kullen, Brookshire, Homeland and Reasor’s.

"This growth speaks to both the quality of our product and the need for Dream Water in the marketplace," Platzner stated. "Over 70 million Americans can’t sleep, and they continue to look for innovative solutions to help them find a better night’s rest or a more restful travel experience."

According to the company, Dream Water is the first water that helps people relax and fall asleep. Marketers point out that the product’s formula is all-natural and includes a proprietary blend of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) to help the user relax; melatonin to induce sleep; and 5-HTP tryptophan to improve the quality of sleep.

Offered in 2.5-ounce bottles, Dream Water meets Transportation Safety Administration guidelines, letting users take it through airport security gates. The product comes in two flavors: Snoozeberry and Lullaby Lemon.

"Dream Water is truly resonating with consumers who are looking for new solutions to help find a better sleep," commented Platzner.
