NORTHBROOK, Ill. — The Emerson Group has named Clark Tyndall, Sue Smith and Brian Schaefer as new partners.

The consumer products consulting and services firm said Tuesday that Tyndall, Smith and Schaefer will join its Partner Group.

Emerson Group president Rick Wellinger said Tyndall has been with the company for 10 years and has contributed greatly to its Walmart, Sam’s Club and dollar store business.

"He was a key to our developing and growing the private-brand business model," stated Wellinger.

Smith has been with Emerson for eight years and was instrumental in defining the company’s role within the Account Success retailers under her responsibility, according to Wellinger. She has since been promoted to Emerson’s Walgreens team and is slated to relocate to Chicago after the holidays.

Schaefer has been with Emerson for six years, joining the company Avent, where he was a client of Emerson.

Wellinger commented, "Brian has taken our CVS business to a whole new level and successfully built a very strong team around that important retailer."
