WARREN, N.J. — Haleon PLC has appointed Nathalie Gerschtein as its new president for North America, effective May 1. Her appointment comes as the company looks to accelerate growth in its largest market. Gerschtein succeeds Lisa Paley, who will remain with the company through the end of May to ensure a smooth leadership transition.

A seasoned executive with more than 20 years of experience at L’Oréal Group, Gerschtein most recently served as President of the Consumer Products Division for North America. Her career spans three continents and includes leadership roles across fast-moving consumer goods, retail, and beauty.

“We are delighted to have appointed Nathalie as President North America,” Haleon CEO Brian McNamara said. “She is a global leader with a proven track record and deep consumer expertise in the North American market. Her ability to combine data, insight, and innovation to meet evolving customer needs will be instrumental as we move into Haleon’s next chapter.”

McNamara credited Gerschtein’s experience navigating complex organizational change and fostering high-performing teams as key assets for the company’s ambitions in the consumer health space. “She will be an outstanding addition to our executive team,” he added.

Gerschtein steps into the role at a pivotal moment for Haleon, which was spun off from GSK in 2022 and now operates as a standalone supplier of consumer health products. The company’s portfolio includes well-known brands like Advil, Sensodyne, Centrum, and Tums.

“I am honored to join Haleon at such an important time for the company and the industry,” Gerschtein said in a statement. “Consumer health is at the heart of people’s lives, and Haleon has an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful difference by empowering people to take control of their health.”

She added that her passion for science and belief in the power of innovation will guide her leadership. “I look forward to working alongside such a talented team to build on the strong foundations already in place and lead the next phase of growth and impact for Haleon in North America.”

McNamara also thanked outgoing president Lisa Paley for her contributions, noting her role in strengthening Haleon’s market position and deepening consumer and customer relationships.

“Lisa has played an important role in building Haleon’s foundations in North America and putting us on a path for long-term success,” he said. “We wish her all the very best for the future.”
