Henkel Consumer Goods names new North America president

STAMFORD, Conn. — Stephan Füsti-Molnar has been appointed as president of Henkel Consumer Goods North America and as regional head of Laundry & Home Care North America.

Henkel said that, in the new role, Füsti-Molnar is responsible for the company’s North American consumer goods business, which encompasses its beauty care, laundry and home care brands. He succeeds Jens-Martin Schwaerzler, who has been named to the Henkel management noard as executive vice president of beauty care.

With the move, Füsti-Molnar will operate out of Henkel’s new North American Consumer Goods headquarters in Stamford, Conn., and be charged with further strengthening the company’s brands in North America, its biggest market.

Füsti-Molnar has been with Henkel since 2009, most recently as president of Germany and as general manager of Henkel’s Laundry & Home Care business. Before joining Henkel, he held various leadership positions in international consumer goods companies.

In North America, Henkel’s roster of brands includes Dial soaps; Persil, Purex and All laundry detergents; Snuggle fabric softeners; Schwarzkopf hair care; Right Guard antiperspirants; göt2b hair styling products; and Loctite adhesives.
