CHESAPEAKE, Va. – Dollar Tree Inc. has announced three new leadership appointments to its field operations organization led by Mike Creedon, the company’s chief operating officer.
Jocelyn Konrad
Jocelyn Konrad has joined the company as the new senior vice president, chief of stores for Family Dollar. She brings more than 15 years of experience in operational roles with Rite Aid, where she started as a pharmacy district manager in 2007 and was promoted to multiple operational roles before serving most recently as EVP and chief pharmacy officer.
Prior to Rite Aid, Konrad was with Eckerd Pharmacy and Thrift Drug. Most recently she’s been head of a consulting firm focused on process enhancement, strategy development and operational excellence in retail operations, Dollar Tree said in a statement announcing the recent leadership moves.
Konrad earned a bachelor’s in pharmacy from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science.
Jason Nordin has also joined the company as the new SVP, chief of stores for Dollar Tree.
Nordin was most recently COO of Pilot Co., where he led 23,000 team members at the company’s more than 650 travel centers and quick-serve restaurants across the U.S. and Canada. Prior to joining Pilot in 2011, he served as Whirlpool’s senior director of global strategic planning in Benton Harbor, Mich.
Prior to Whirlpool, he held various positions in marketing, business development and operations at Tyco International and Abbott Laboratories.
Nordin earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, a master’s degree in engineering management and an MBA from Northwestern University.
The company has promoted 10-year company veteran Pete Barnett to an expanded role of SVP, enterprise operations.
Barnett has served in operations leadership for both Dollar Tree and Family Dollar. In making the promotion, Dollar Tree said Barnett is the right leader to succeed Steve Farrell, who is retiring after nearly 28 years with the company.
