Jolen unveils new package design for creme bleach

Jolen Inc. has rolled out a new look for its Jolen Creme Bleach hair formula. The company said Monday that Jolen Creme Bleach retains its iconic logo and package color but sports a new package design to freshen up the brand’s look.

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Jolen Inc. has rolled out a new look for its Jolen Creme Bleach hair formula.

The company said Monday that Jolen Creme Bleach retains its iconic logo and package color but sports a new package design to freshen up the brand’s look.

The updated packaging, which hit store shelves beginning in November, also provides 20% more product as well as a mixing cup to make it easier for blending the ingredients at home. The product comes in original and sensitive formulas (with aloe vera).

"Listening and responding to feedback from our loyal users led to the enhanced packaging," explained Jeff Kossak, vice president of Jolen Inc., a family-owned company based in Fairfield, Conn. "Our popular Jolen Creme Bleach, original and sensitive formulas, will now feature a free bonus of 20% more product at the same price to help women lighten and soften hair on their face, arms and body. We’re also providing a nifty, new mixing cup which makes it even easier to prepare the bleach."

Jolen Creme Bleach is sold nationally at most major retailers, including Walgreens, CVS/pharmacy, Rite Aid, Walmart, Ulta and Harmon, as well as at beauty specialty stores and online.

With the new packaging, Jolen also plans new advertising and promotions, a new website and the development of branded social media communities, including a new Facebook page Facebook.com/Jolen, targeting beauty-focused consumers to continue to build on the brand’s loyal customer base.

Jolen was launched in 1964 by entrepreneur and beauty pioneer Evelyn Kossak, who still plays an active role in the company as president. "While our look on the outside has changed a bit, our mission as a company has remained the same over the past 50 years: to help women maximize their natural beauty by empowering them with confidence," Kossak stated.
