WARREN, N.J. – GSK Consumer Healthcare has appointed Amardeep Kahlon as its chief marketing officer and vice president of U.S. marketing. In his new role, Amardeep is responsible for all aspects of marketing in the largest Consumer Healthcare market in the world. Amardeep will report to Colin Mackenzie, region head of the Americas, and become a member of his leadership team.

Amardeep was formerly the vice president and global business leader for cold and flu in the Respiratory Category, where he was responsible for the global delivery of programs and innovation to drive growth on the Theraflu Brand concept. During his time in the business, Amardeep successfully led a digital acceleration program to drive new content and digital best practices.
He also led his team to launch new innovations and communications that have accelerated Theraflu to market leading growth in priority markets. This appointment reflects not only Amardeep’s impressive business results but also his proven leadership and focus on people. Amardeep succeeds Theresa Agnew, who was appointed acting area general manager for Australia and New Zealand.
