Arlington, Va. – The National Association of Chain Drug Stores has announced that Kellyanne Conway, a trailblazer in political strategy, will deliver the keynote address at the NACDS Political Action Committee Breakfast during the 2025 NACDS Annual Meeting, taking place April 26-29 in Palm Beach, Florida.
Conway, known for her pivotal role as Campaign Manager for the Trump-Pence 2016 campaign and as Senior Counselor to the President, brings a wealth of experience navigating complex policy issues. She made history as the first woman to lead a Presidential campaign, and her time in the White House saw her handling a diverse array of domestic and international challenges. Conway’s expertise in political strategy positions her as a key voice on the current political landscape.
“We are honored to have Kellyanne Conway join us at the 2025 NACDS Annual Meeting,” stated NACDS President and CEO Steven C. Anderson. “Her distinguished career and her ability to connect with audiences of varied political views will bring unique value to the conference. She has a way of enriching an audiences’ understanding in a way that can shape action on priority issues.”
Before her White House tenure, Conway founded and led The Polling Company, Inc./WomanTrend, conducting critical research, including for the Coalition for Community Pharmacy Action—a partnership between NACDS and the National Community Pharmacists Association. A frequent guest on major television networks and a bestselling author, Conway remains a prominent media figure, with her 2022 memoir, Here’s The Deal, topping the New York Times bestseller list.
The bipartisan NACDS-PAC supports Congressional candidates who advocate for pro-pharmacy and pro-patient policies. The NACDS-PAC Breakfast is a significant event that attracts leaders from diverse political backgrounds and is part of the broader NACDS Chain Members and PAC Breakfast. The event is open to NACDS chain members and NACDS-PAC contributors.
“Kellyanne Conway’s strategic acumen and her deep understanding of the current political landscape are invaluable as NACDS members focus on serving the American people and innovating in health and wellness,” Anderson emphasized. “Her insights will be timely, well-informed, and actionable – and they are sure to be a highlight of what certainly will be another must-attend NACDS Annual Meeting.”
Other prominent speakers at the 2025 NACDS Annual Meeting include Jonah Goldberg and Stephen Hayes of The Dispatch, who will address attendees during the Business Program on Sunday, April 27, and former U.S. Ambassador to China Nicholas Burns, who will address attendees on Tuesday, April 29.
