RALEIGH, N.C. — Former pharmaceutical company executive Richard Domann has joined Kerr Drug’s Kerr Health subsidiary.

Domann, who has more than three decades of experience in the drug industry, is the company’s vice president of sales and business development.

“Dick’s immense pharmaceutical background makes him a wonderful addition to our team,” Kerr chief executive officer Anthony Civello remarks. “He is highly regarded both in the industry and in the community,” Civello says. “He is truly a first-class addition to the Kerr family. We are excited for the opportunities that will come from his many relationships and his industry expertise.”

Domann began his career in 1980 with McNeil Pharmaceuticals and joined Glaxo Pharmaceuticals three years later.

As the company evolved into GlaxoSmithKline, he held a variety of positions, including territory sales representative, district sales manager, director of government development, director of strategic trade operations, managed markets chief of staff and segment vice president of channel sales.

Since moving to North Carolina in 1987, Domann has served on several charitable foundation boards and has been actively involved in North Carolina politics.
