Kimberly-Clark appoints chief marketing officer

Clive Sirkin has been named vice president and chief marketing officer at Kimberly-Clark Corp. The company said Tuesday that Sirkin reports to Tony Palmer, president of global brands and innovation. Sirkin has held a number of marketing leadership positions since coming to Kimberly-Clark in 2007.

DALLAS — Clive Sirkin has been named vice president and chief marketing officer at Kimberly-Clark Corp.

The company said Tuesday that Sirkin reports to Tony Palmer, president of global brands and innovation.

Sirkin has held a number of marketing leadership positions since coming to Kimberly-Clark in 2007.

"Since joining K-C, Clive has been instrumental in building strong, healthy brands and businesses around the world," commented Palmer. "As CMO, Clive will continue the ongoing transformation of our marketing function as a core driver of our growth agenda."

Before Kimberly-Clark, Sirkin consulted with consumer packaged goods firms and specialized in helping clients transform marketing processes to commercialize their brands more effectively and efficiently. He also spent 16 years in a variety of roles at advertising giant Leo Burnett, most recently as group managing director for Leo Burnett Worldwide.

Kimberly-Clark’s roster of brands includes Kleenex, Scott, Huggies, Pull-Ups, Kotex and Depend.
