“For 120+ years, Kinney Drugs has taken our responsibilities as a community pharmacy very seriously. We owe it to our patients, our local communities, and our employee owners to engage in fair and equitable business practices. We wouldn’t still be in business if we had not. The GoodRx cash discount program is no longer fair, nor equitable. Therefore, effective December 1, 2023, Kinney Drugs will no longer accept GoodRx,” said John Marraffa, president.

He added, “We understand that people need affordable access to their medications, and we will continue to accept more than 30 other prescription discount programs, including: AARP, Inside Rx, ProAct Savings Card, ScriptSave, SavingsSeeker, and SingleCare, among many others. We will collaborate with each patient to find one that works for them.”
