NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. — Life Wear Technologies is building on its CryoMAX cold therapy brand with the launch of ThermalMAX long-lasting heat packs.
According to Life Wear, ThermalMAX delivers a new level of wearable performance to consumers in need of deep heat therapy. The reusable heat packs stay hot for more than two hours when used as directed, providing comfort and relief from pain.
The non-toxic, latex-free packs can be washed for years of use and comes with wearable wrap and strap so consumers can use them during daily activities.
“As the manufacturer of the No. 1-selling cold therapy product in food, drug and mass markets, CryoMAX, we felt a great responsibility to deliver a similar level of advanced technology and convenience in heat as with our patented ‘Points of Cold’ technology,” stated Bradley Waugh, chief executive officer of Life Wear Technologies. “With ThermalMAX, we are leveraging similar technology that will deliver lasting heat therapy to those seeking to manage various chronic ailments, including reducing pain in joints and relaxing sore muscles, ligaments, and tendons.
“It isn’t always convenient to use an electric heat pad, but with ThermalMAX you get a microwavable and reusable product that supplies over two hours of heat therapy, on the go,” Waugh added.
ThermalMAX is being made available at select Walgreens drug stores and to regional supermarket retailers nationwide in August, Life Wear said.
Along with ThermalMAX and the CryoMAX eight-hour reusable cold packs, Life Wear is a leading supplier of branded and private-label sports medicine products to drug, food and mass retailers. Offerings include Flex Aid neoprene supports, elastic braces, tape and bandages, and hot/cold therapy products, as well as private-label supports, braces, tape/bandages, hot/therapy, and ergonomic and orthopedic products.
