ASHLAND, Ore. — MaskIT LLC founder and chief executive officer Shallan Ramsey was featured on the E! television show “Modern Living with Kathy Ireland.”
The feminine care company said the segment focused on the socially responsible disposal of feminine hygiene products.
MaskIT provides a sanitary, discreet and simple disposal method for women’s used feminine hygiene items, including pads and tampons. Its product is made with certified compostable biofilm, which the company said reduces the risk for cross-contamination from blood-borne pathogens and helps prevent plumbing problems related to disposal.
“Honestly, there’s nothing else out there quite like MaskIT. It’s easy to use, it blocks odor, it won’t leak, it’s discreet and it’s earth-friendly,” Ramsey said on the show. “The unique design actually protects your hand during use. It’s the only sanitary and discreet way for women to dispose of their used feminine hygiene items that actually makes sense at this time.”
MaskIT noted that its product also stands to make a huge impact on toilet paper consumption for covering feminine
products.
“MaskIT has created a product that is so necessary but has never been created before,” stated J.L. Haber, vice president of Modern Living with Kathy Ireland. “Their innovative, revolutionary solution is changing the name of the game in feminine hygiene. We couldn’t be more proud to have MaskIT on our show.”
