TEMPLE, Texas — Susan Adzick has been promoted to senior vice president of sales and strategic relationships at McLane Co.

In her new role, Adzick, previously vice president of sales and marketing, will lead the business development and national account functions for McLane Foodservice, the grocery and foodservice distributor said.
Besides assuming the expanded responsibility of providing the strategic direction, business development and customer relationship management for McLane Foodservice, Adzick will continue to work across all departments within McLane to leverage the breadth of the organization to maximize service and supply-chain solutions for current and prospective customers. She joined McLane in 2000.
“Susan has worked to elevate the McLane Foodservice brand to higher visibility within the industry and brand recognition across all categories,” stated Tom Zatina, president of McLane Foodservice. “Under her watch, we have grown market share with existing brands and added new customers expanding into casual dining and fast casual brands.”
McLane provides grocery and foodservice supply chain solutions for convenience stores, mass merchants, drug stores and chain restaurants nationwide. Through McLane Grocery and McLane Foodservice, the company operates more than 80 distribution centers and buys, sells and delivers over 50,000 consumer products to nearly 110,000 locations across the country. It also distributes alcoholic beverages via its Empire Distributors Inc. subsidiary.
