LOS ANGELES — Akeso Health Sciences is rolling out its MigreLief Triple Therapy with Puracol migraine remedy at CVS/pharmacy stores nationwide and on CVS.com.

Akeso said Tuesday that both its MigreLief Original Formula and MigreLief+M menstrual migraine formula hit shelves at CVS stores this week.

"We have a very large and loyal online community of customers who have asked for more convenient access to MigreLief through the stores they frequent most," commented Curt Hendrix, chief science officer at Akeso Health Sciences and the creator of MigreLief. "With over 7,000 CVS stores in the United States, we are thrilled MigreLief will be more accessible to our followers and even more pleased that higher visibility will give 30 million migraine sufferers across the U.S. a greater opportunity to discover this safe and effective, nonprescription, nutritional alternative."

A dietary supplement for those with chronic migraine headaches, MigreLief is formulated to maintain normal cerebrovascular function by addressing nutritional deficiencies and imbalances common to many migraine sufferers. Akeso said MigreLief is safe for men, women and children (over 2 years old) and is free of harmful side effects and can be safely combined with other migraine medications.

Puracol, MigreLief’s patented formulation, brings a proprietary blend of unique feverfew sources, magnesium from two sources and high-dose, highly absorbable riboflavin (vitamin B2), all of which have independently shown significant benefits to chronic migraine sufferers, according to Akeso.

MigreLief+M provides five additional ingredients to address monthly fluctuations in female hormones and blood sugar, which are major migraine triggers and causes of premenstrual symptoms, the company added.

There’s also a formulation for kids under the age of 12 who suffer from migraines. Children’s MigreLief Original Formula contains the same ingredients as MigreLief but with dosages and pill sizes adjusted to meet kids’ needs.
