STOCKHOLM, Sweden — Moberg Pharma AB has rolled out Kerasal Nail Fungal Nail Repair, an extension of its Kerasal Nail product line.

Moberg said CVS/pharmacy will be the first national drug chain to sell Kerasal Nail Fungal Nail Repair. Plans call for the product to launch in about 5,500 CVS drug stores in January.

Packaged and merchandised specifically for beauty shoppers, Kerasal Nail Fungal Nail Repair will be sold in the nail care aisle of CVS’ beauty section, according to Moberg.

The Kerasal Nail line also includes the Kerasal Nail Fungal Nail Renewal Treatment. Moberg said Kerasal Nail continues to be the top-selling SKU in the foot care section at CVS, where the product launched in 2012.

"We are pleased to launch this new line extension at CVS. Kerasal Nail’s new beauty-focused SKU gives Kerasal Nail penetration into a completely different part of the store, where we can target shoppers who don’t visit the foot care aisle," stated Peter Wolpert, chief executive officer of Moberg Pharma. "This opens new possibilities to grow the market for nail treatments as well as to increase our market share. It is consistent with our strategic goal to be No. 1 in products related to nail fungus."
