SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — The Healthcare Distribution Alliance (HDA) announced Jody Hatcher, CEO of Morris & Dickson Coo, as the Chair of its Board of Directors at the association's Annual Board and Membership Meeting. Debbie Weitzman, CEO of Pharmaceutical and Specialty Solutions, Cardinal Health, Inc., is Vice Chair.
“It is my pleasure to welcome Jody and Debbie into their new roles, while thanking Kirk for his strong leadership over the last several years,” said HDA President and CEO Chester “Chip” Davis, Jr. “HDA has benefited greatly from Jody and Debbie’s extensive industry experience and informed perspective. We are excited for them to lead us forward as our industry continues to heighten its engagement and visibility with policymakers and supply chain stakeholders.”
Mr. Hatcher has served on the Executive Committee since 2021, most recently as the Vice Chair. He assumes leadership of the role from Kirk Kaminsky, President of U.S. Pharmaceutical, McKesson Corporation. Ms. Weitzman has been an Executive Committee member since 2022.

In 2024, HDA added five new member companies to the association with executives from those companies named to the board, including:
- A-S Medication Solutions, LLC (Matt Hoff, CEO);
- BioCare, Inc. (Mike Kody, Chief Operating Officer);
- Independent Pharmacy Distributor (Russell Patterson, Owner);
- NDC Distributors (Issac Rosen, Chief Executive Officer); and,
- Pharmsource, LLC. (Jeff Herman, CEO).
Of note, other appointments to the Board include:
- Tricia Hew Chen, Interim President and CFO of Anda, Inc.;
- Billy Abrams, Executive Vice President, Distribution of Medline Industries, LP; and,
- Rick Seipp, EVP, Administration and Operations of Value Drug Company.
