SAN FRANCISCO — Mscripts has launched mscripts Web Pharmacy, an online pharmacy solution that extends and unifies the mobile experience to the Internet.
The mobile pharmacy provider said Tuesday that mscripts Web Pharmacy, which is built atop the mscripts infrastructure, gives pharmacy customers an omnichannel experience for text, phone and web interactions.
Mscripts noted that with the solution, its customers — which include national and regional retail pharmacy chains, specialty pharmacies and hospital systems — can now offer their patients an integrated and branded web and mobile environment to manage their health and prescription needs.
Mscripts Web Pharmacy provides many of the same features of the mscripts Mobile Pharmacy solution, including one-click refill, a consolidated view of medications, a pharmacy locator and transfer of prescriptions from another chain.
In addition, the web solution allows patients to create medical expense reports and provides robust sort and search capabilities, according to mscripts. Account settings also are integrated with both web and mobile setup to create a seamless environment for the patient.
"The addition of mscripts Web Pharmacy allows pharmacies to satisfy the needs of a broad customer base — some may prefer using the web, while others their mobile phone, or a combination of both," stated Mark Cullen, chief executive officer of mscripts. "Mscripts Web Pharmacy employs an intuitive interface customized with each customer’s brand, creating new opportunities for improved interactions, adherence and refill rates."
Mscripts added that its scalable enterprise offering is secure and includes failover, backup and recovery in a 24/7 cloud-hosted environment. The solution is certified on both McKesson EnterpriseRx and PDX pharmacy systems and is designed to be easily integrated with other dispensing platorms, the company said. Mscripts Web Pharmacy, too, uses the same analytics as the mobile solution. The web analytics are integrated with the mobile reporting data and are available via the Reporting Dashboard and scheduled reports.
