NACDS and AARP join forces on Nourish My Health campaign

NACDS President and CEO Steven C. Anderson spoke at the AARP Global Thought Leadership Conference, “Unlocking Health Longevity: A Blueprint for Thriving with Age.”

March 27, 2025 – Last week, National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) President and CEO Steven C. Anderson took the stage at the AARP Global Thought Leadership Conference, Unlocking Health Longevity: A Blueprint for Thriving with Age, to discuss the critical role of pharmacies in advancing health and wellness.

During his address, Anderson highlighted the trust and accessibility of pharmacies in supporting public health and announced a significant new partnership: AARP has joined the NACDS Nourish My Health national health education campaign. This initiative promotes better health outcomes through nutrition, education, and pharmacy-driven support.

Nourish My Health reaches millions of Americans, particularly in regions with high rates of diet-related diseases.

AARP joins a distinguished group of partners, including the Alzheimer’s Association, American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association, the Food is Medicine Institute at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University, and March of Dimes. Together, these organizations are working to empower individuals with the knowledge and resources needed to improve their health through informed lifestyle choices.
