NACDS unveils Product Showcase winners

The National Association of Chain Drug Stores has announced the winners of the 2013 NACDS Total Store Expo Product Showcase.

ARLINGTON, Va. — The National Association of Chain Drug Stores has announced the winners of the 2013 NACDS Total Store Expo Product Showcase.

NACDS said Monday that, overall, 160 products ranging from health and beauty to seasonal items were on display in the Product Showcase on the Total Store Expo exhibit floor, providing increased visibility for suppliers marketing products.

Winners were named in 11 product categories. This year’s winners were the following:

Baby Care: Boudreaux’s Butt Paste (Fleet Laboratories)

Consumables: Super C Vitamin Drink Mix (The Jel Sert Co.)

Cosmetics/Fragrances: Hot New Nail Products (Beauty 21/LA Colors/LA Girl)

General Merchandise: Pet Dry Shampoo (Pet Head Inc.)

Health Care/OTC: VeraTemp (BrookLands Inc.)

Home Health Care: Lung Boost Respiratory Trainer (ChoiceMMed America Co.)

Household Products/Nonedible Consumables: Disney Licensed Duck Tape (ShurTech Brands LLC)

Personal Care/HBC: Grooms Man Trimmer (Wahl Clipper Corp.)

Pharmacy Operations Equipment/Services: Digital Audio Label (AccessaMed Inc.)

Pharmacy Products: EpiPen Jr. (Mylan Inc.)

Seasonal: Little Hotties Warmers (Implus Foot Care) 

Held Aug. 10 to 13 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, the Total Store Expo drew more than 5,700 attendees from across the chain drug retailer and supplier sectors. The inaugural expo combined three former NACDS events: the NACDS Marketplace Conference, NACDS Pharmacy & Technology Conference and NACDS Supply Chain & Logistics Conference.
