TUKWILA, Wash. — Genoa, a QoL Healthcare Company, announced an organizational rebranding as well as a name change to Genoa Healthcare.

The comprehensive effort elevates the focus on the variety of services the organization provides for helping individuals living with behavioral health and other complex, chronic conditions. In addition to a new name, the Genoa Healthcare rebranding includes a new logo, new positioning and a revamped website.

“This is about our name reflecting the fact that we are a dynamic health care company offering a growing range of services including pharmacy, telepsychiatry and medication management solutions,” said chief executive officer John Figueroa. “We also want to more strongly convey the passion we have for what we do, and the compassion we have for those we serve.”

Genoa’s suite of solutions designed to help shape better outcomes for individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness, addiction and other complex conditions includes:

• Pharmacies — As the country’s fifth-largest drug chain, Genoa fills more than 14 million prescriptions for more than 630,000 consumers in nearly 400 full-service pharmacies located within community mental health centers across the U.S.

• Telepsychiatry — Via video conferencing, Genoa’s team of over 250 psychiatrists and nurse practitioners provide high-quality psychiatric services to mental health patients in a variety of settings, including community mental health centers and primary care clinics, inpatient units and emergency departments.

• Medication Management Solutions — Genoa Medication Management Solutions’ clinical pharmacists conduct comprehensive medication management reviews, by phone, to members of health plans who have complex health issues. Most have four or more chronic illnesses, take more than 10 medications each day, and accrue, on average, $50,000 in medical care costs annually.
