New York Jets and Johnson & Johnson partner to champion community health initiatives

Johnson & Johnson will promote a healthier community through the team’s My Cause My Cleats and Healthcare Hero initiatives.

FLORHAM PARK, NJ — The New York Jets have formed a multi-year partnership with Johnson & Johnson, designating the healthcare giant as the team’s Official Medical Innovation Sponsor. The partnership seeks to promote better health among fans and the wider community through new initiatives focused on awareness, recognition, and education.

As part of the agreement, Johnson & Johnson will serve as the presenting sponsor of the Jets’ My Cause My Cleats campaign, highlighting players’ chosen causes and custom-designed cleats across multiple media platforms ahead of the team’s November 30 game against the Falcons. The company will also launch a new Healthcare Hero program, recognizing one local healthcare professional each month during the NFL season for their dedication and lifesaving work.

“The Jets are honored to team up with Johnson & Johnson to recognize healthcare workers in our community that put in countless hours to protect all of us,” said Jeff Fernandez, Jets Senior Vice President of Business Development + Ventures. “Through this meaningful sponsorship, we will be able to promote the importance of early screenings for critical illnesses and highlight healthier lifestyle habits, while extending awareness of health issues through the My Cause My Cleats program.”

The partnership launched a 'Stories of Strength' public service campaign featuring Jets linebacker Quincy Williams, who urges fans to prioritize early and regular cancer screenings. The PSAs will air across Jets and Johnson & Johnson digital channels.

Along with in-game recognition and digital storytelling, Johnson & Johnson will prominently feature in MetLife Stadium signage during home games, including “Protect Your Health” messages shown during defensive red-zone stands.
