NRF 2025: Retail’s Big Show will be held January 12-14 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City. It is one of the largest conferences and expos focused on retail worldwide, featuring over 1,000 exhibitors, 5,000 brands, and 170 sessions.
Award-winning actress, producer and Pattern Beauty founder and CEO Tracee Ellis Ross will deliver a keynote address on Jan. 13. Ross will discuss how she created a multimillion-dollar global brand that celebrates the worthiness of Black beauty and the importance of representation and inclusivity in the beauty industry.
“Known for her leading roles on the silver screen, Tracee Ellis Ross is also a trailblazer in the beauty industry, embracing both authenticity and inclusivity,” NRF President and CEO Matthew Shay said. “We look forward to hearing her insights on her journey from Hollywood to entrepreneurship at Retail’s Big Show.”
Ross is best known for her performances in Girlfriends, Reed Between the Lines and her role in Black-ish, for which she received a Golden Globe Award. She founded Pattern Beauty in 2019, promising to embrace, love, and support the community it serves. Pattern Beauty encourages self-expression by promoting confidence in all natural hair types.
In addition to Ross, several industry leaders are scheduled to speak at NRF 2025, including The Goldman Sachs Group Inc. Chairman and CEO David Solomon, Target CEO Brian Cornell, Shopify President Harley Finkelstein, Walmart U.S. President and CEO John Furner, New Balance Athletics Inc. President and CEO Joe Preston, IKEA U.S. CEO and Chief Sustainability Officer Javier Quiñones and others.
