ARLINGTON, Va. — On September 17, NACDS RxIMPACT Votes – the get-out-the-vote initiative within NACDS’ grassroots program – celebrated National Voter Registration Day with a virtual event featuring national political analyst Charlie Cook.
Cook sat down with NACDS president and CEO Steven Anderson for an insightful discussion on the upcoming Presidential race and the U.S. Congressional elections, and what they might mean for the nation heading into 2025. More than 600 pharmacy voters from 45 states registered to attend the virtual NACDS RxIMPACT Votes event— and nearly 60 NACDS member companies, state associations and schools of pharmacy served as event partners.
Throughout the 2024 election season, NACDS RxIMPACT Votes continues to update its vibrant grassroots community with alerts about primary election dates; voter registration information; #PharmacyVoter social media engagement opportunities; information about how to engage in candidates’ campaigns and how to advance get-out-the-vote drives; and insights about the Congressional landscape and the importance of engagement.
