Prevagen now carried chainwide at CVS

Quincy Bioscience has achieved retail distribution for its Prevagen brain health supplement at all CVS/pharmacy stores nationwide.

MADISON, Wis. — Quincy Bioscience has achieved retail distribution for its Prevagen brain health supplement at all CVS/pharmacy stores nationwide.

The company said Monday that with the expanded presence of Prevagen in CVS’ approximately 7,500 drug stores, the brand can be found in more than 20,000 stores in the United States.

In 2010, Prevagen marked its third anniversary with the distribution of the product in over 6,000 stores, including Rite Aid pharmacies and independent health food stores. Soon after, Prevagen became available in Walgreens and CVS stores across the country, Quincy Bioscience said.

"We are very thankful to our retail partners for their vision in recognizing the need for better brain health across America and for making Prevagen readily accessible to their patrons across the country," stated Mark Underwood, president and co-founder of Quincy Bioscience.

Prevagen contains a first-in-class active ingredient called apoaequorin, which has been shown to protect brain cells and improve cognition in adults, according to Quincy Bioscience.

"Prevagen has become America’s best-selling memory product in drug stores nationally," commented Tom Dvorak, vice president of sales and marketing for Quincy Bioscience. "A good portion of our success comes from the repeat purchases of our loyal customers."
