CINCINNATI — Pringles is now offering a portable speaker in a mail giveaway for consumers who buy Super Stack cans of the potato crisp snack.

Procter & Gamble Co. said Wednesday that through Oct. 31, consumers can send in the original receipt from any four Super Stack cans to receive a free Pringles-branded speaker device by mail.

The speaker is designed to fit onto the top of any can of Pringles and uses the empty can to amplify sound when attached to a personal MP3 player or similar music device, according to P&G. With the speaker attached to a Pringles can, listeners "can get that summertime feeling whenever and wherever," the company said, adding that Pringles is "the official on-the-go snack of summer."

"Pringles is about unexpected fun and good times," stated Kristin Herrmann-Ratz, brand manager for Pringles. "The new Pringles’ speaker is just one more way to make good times even better wherever you are."

Specially marked Pringles speaker design cans are now available in original, cheddar cheese, and sour cream and onion flavors. All Super Stack flavor purchases qualify to receive speakers, and consumers can download the free speaker redemption form at Pringles.com.
