SPARTANBURG, S.C. — QS/1 has begun offering Veridikal Intelligence and Veridikal’s Reconciliation program to pharmacies using its automation solutions.

QS/1 said Tuesday that this type of reconciliation program helps pharmacies eliminate many errors before claims are processed, which increases payments and expedites prescription delivery to customers. The program includes pre- and post-editing, EDI support, 835 processing, forensic auditing and reconciliation.

"Pre- and post-edits service evaluates prescription claims for omissions, errors and compliance with industry standards and metrics," stated Revonda Spratt, vice president of operations at QS/1. "This prevents the pharmacy from submitting a claim the insurance provider would reject due to missing or inaccurate information, and decreases the possibility of paying multiple submission charges on a single prescription."

QS/1 noted that Veridikal business edits program provides additional analysis of claims before they are sent to the third party, reducing the number of errors before the claim is processed to ensure revenue enhancements and lowering the amount of time that pharmacy staff spend correcting rejected claims.

"Business edit training and support are provided to all customers," commented Larry Lane, senior vice president of marketing at Veridikal. "The pharmacy staff also has the ability to access Veridikal University’s comprehensive training program designed to meet the staff’s schedule and apply for continuing education."
