The company said Tuesday that the addition of BrushPoint will boost its store-brand capabilities as well as give it a more robust offering of products and services, enhanced manufacturing capabilities and broader distribution in the United States, Canada and Europe.

“I am extremely pleased to announce this acquisition, one that blends perfectly with our company’s mission to work with our established retail partners in providing consumers access to quality, affordable oral health solutions,” Ranir president and chief executive officer Rich Sorota stated. “Our strong retail partnerships, complementary geographies and combined product and service strengths make this acquisition a natural fit for Ranir.

“Both of our organizations are dedicated to delivering our retailers the very best store-brand oral care products,” he added, “and we are excited to bring the Ranir innovation and product development model together with BrushPoint’s strong portfolio positioning in the value category.”

Plans call for BrushPoint’s operations to be folded into Ranir’s headquarters within the next six months.

Ranir said that along with revenue growth, the acquisition stands to expand its operations and add positions in West Michigan in the areas of marketing and quality.

“Our company’s acquisition of BrushPoint is a clear indication that we are executing against our strategic plan focused on product and geographic expansion,” Sorota commented. “We are proud of the growth that our team has accomplished and to be a Michigan-headquartered company with products distributed and marketed around the globe.”
