CLEVELAND — Reese Pharmaceutical Co. has added Licide Bedbug Spray to its lineup of over-the-counter branded and private-label products.

The company said Wednesday that Licide Bedbug Spray helps consumers keep their homes free of bedbugs for up to 4 weeks. The water-based aerosol comes in a 5-ounce spray and is specifically designed for bedding and furniture with simple, easy-to-follow instructions.

Reese noted that the bedbug population in the United States has rapidly increased in the past few years and that the pests have become a problem in countless public places, where they can crawl onto clothing and then get into homes.

The bedbug spray is available in both the Reese Licide brand as well as a private label. "Our superior packaging stands out and attracts consumer attention at point of purchase, while our price point offers high profit potential for retailers and great consumer value," the company stated.

Cleveland-based Reese Pharmaceutical is a distributor/repacker of OTC branded and private-label products, selling to national and regional discount chains, food and grocery, drug wholesalers, co-ops and independent pharmacies.
