DALLAS — Kusin & Kusin Ltd. has introduced Reviver, which it calls the world’s first dry deodorant for clothes and hair.

The product made its retail debut this week at Walgreens stores nationwide in the laundry aisle, the consumer packaged goods company said.

Reviver is a an odor-neutralizing dry "swipe" that lets users "instantly and discreetly swipe away the everyday, according to Kusin & Kusin.

Each swipe is packaged in a resealable packet and provides multiple uses. The resealable packaging gives customers the convenience of storing it in a purse, pocket, briefcase, car or desk, the company noted.

To use Reviver, consumers slip the swipe over their fingers and rub it against their clothing or hair. The wiping action releases proprietary, nontoxic compounds that safely neutralize odor-causing elements without damaging clothing, Kusin & Kusin said.

Reviver can be found on a clip strip in the laundry products area of Walgreens and is priced at $2.99 per multi-use swipe. Kusin & Kusin described the product as "like breath mints for clothes and hair."

"We all want to look, feel and smell our best whenever and wherever we go. Our clothes and hair shouldn’t be exempt from that aspiration," stated Ben Kusin, chief executive officer of Kusin & Kusin. "Everyone leads such busy lives, and everyone deserves a quick freshen up. So we created Reviver for people to ‘swipe on the confidence’ so they are at their best throughout the day. We are excited to launch our product in-store at Walgreens, and we look forward to helping their customers stay fresh."

Kusin & Kusin launched Reviver Pets, a pet product line for dogs and cats, exclusively at Petco in July 2013.
