MISSISSAUGA, Ontario — Rexall Pharma Plus has confirmed that Mary Kelly has joined the company as executive vice president and chief merchandising officer.
Kelly comes to Rexall after four years at Shoppers Drug Mart Corp., where most recently she served as executive vice president of merchandising and category management.
She reports directly to Frank Scorpiniti, chief executive officer of Rexall Pharma Plus, which has 436 drug stores across Canada.
"Mary brings significant drug retail experience, which will help us continue our journey of reinventing our brand experience," Scorpiniti stated in a company memo on Kelly’s appointment.
Rexall noted that Kelly, who started at the company earlier this month, brings 26 years of experience as a business team leader in Canada and the United States. Before Shoppers Drug Mart, she spent 17 years at Target Corp. in various positions in merchandising and pharmacy, and prior to that held posts at Revco Drug Stores and Eli Lilly & Co.
