WADSWORTH, Ohio — Ritzman Pharmacies Inc. has acquired Mast Pharmacy, which has five stores in northeastern Ohio.

Ritzman on Wednesday confirmed that it has purchased Mast. The companies announced in early August that they had signed a letter of intent to explore a "business partnership" in which Ritzman would own and operate all Mast pharmacies.
Terms of the agreement weren’t disclosed
With the deal, Ritzman picked up pharmacies in Sugarcreek, Berlin, Millersburg, Shreve and Wooster, Ohio, giving it a total of 25 full-service pharmacies in northeastern and central Ohio.
The Ritzman locations include 11 pharmacies in Buehler’s Fresh Foods Market supermarkets. The drug chain acquired the Buehler’s in-store pharmacies in the fall of 2011.
Ritzman also operates a specialty packaging pharmacy, Ritzman Med-Dose Services, and a home infusion pharmacy. The chain also offers Ritzman-brand supplements along with traditional over-the-counter and natural health products.
