WADSWORTH, Ohio — Ritzman Pharmacies Inc. has purchased five-store Mast Pharmacy.

Ritzman picked up outlets in Sugarcreek, Berlin, Millersburg, Shreve and Wooster, Ohio, giving it a total of 25 full-service pharmacies in northeastern and central Ohio.

The Ritzman locations include 11 pharmacies in Buehler’s Fresh Foods Market supermarkets. Ritzman acquired the Buehler’s in-store pharmacies in the fall of 2011.

Known for its personalized service, Mast offers traditional pharmacy services, a large selection of over-the-counter medications, mobile pharmacy services on Android and Apple devices, and digital photo printing. The chain’s Berlin location also has a soda fountain.

Eric Graf, co-owner and chief executive officer of Ritzman, called Mast “a natural fit.”
Ritzman can be expected to maintain Mast’s three-decade heritage of striving to put the customer first, stated owner Rod Mast.

Besides its retail outlets, Ritzman operates a specialty packaging pharmacy, Ritzman Med-Dose Services; and a home infusion pharmacy. The drug chain also offers Ritzman brand supplements along with other natural health products and traditional O-T-Cs.
