BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Sam’s Club is expanding its pharmacy capabilities with a new same-day delivery service for refrigerated prescriptions, including GLP-1 medications, insulin, antibiotics and other temperature-sensitive treatments. The service, now available in most markets, offers free same-day delivery for Plus Members and continues the retailer’s expanding commitment to accessible, affordable healthcare.
The expansion integrates refrigerated medication delivery with Sam’s Club’s existing pharmacy programs, including significant discounts on GLP-1s through manufacturer copay cards, personalized pharmacist consultations, and expanded in-club wellness options.

Expanding access through innovation
The new refrigerated delivery option brings advanced cold-chain logistics directly into members’ homes, ensuring prescriptions arrive safely and within the required temperature range. The initiative builds on Sam’s Club’s investments in omnichannel fulfillment, leveraging the retailer’s digital infrastructure and in-club expertise to offer a seamless pharmacy experience.
Members can order prescriptions online or through the Sam’s Club app, with delivery available for most medications the same day when placed by 2 p.m. Plus Members receive free delivery, while Club and non-members can access the service for a $12 fee.
By combining digital access, affordability, and clinical support, Sam’s Club continues to strengthen its position as a trusted health destination. The retailer’s pharmacists are trained to counsel members on chronic disease management, medication adherence, and preventive health services, including vaccinations and screenings.
Affordable access to GLP-1 therapies
As GLP-1 medications continue to transform obesity and diabetes management, affordability and access remain key challenges. Sam’s Club is addressing this through partnerships with manufacturers such as Novo Nordisk, offering eligible members Wegovy and Ozempic for $499 per month via copay savings programs for cash-paying customers.
The discounts are part of a broader effort by Sam’s Club to bring down out-of-pocket costs for members who may not have insurance coverage for newer weight management therapies. These savings, paired with same-day refrigerated delivery, provide members with a practical and reliable way to manage complex conditions from the comfort of their own homes.
A holistic pharmacy experience
Sam’s Club operates nearly 570 pharmacies nationwide, supported by more than 3,500 pharmacists and technicians. In addition to prescription fulfillment, the clubs offer immunizations, health screenings, and consultations on nutrition, wellness, and over-the-counter products.
