SHELTON, Conn. — Schick has expanded its Hydro razor lineup for men and women with the launch of Schick Hydro 5 Disposables and Schick Hydro Silk Disposables.

The Energizer Personal Care brand said Tuesday that the new Schick Hydro disposable razors hydrate skin during each shave and help protect skin from irritation. Both the Schick Hydro 5 Disposables and Schick Hydro Silk Disposables also come with a money-back guarantee.

Energizer noted that the Schick Hydro 5 Disposables feature such advanced shaving technology as a water-activated gel reservoir to hydrate skin; five blades with skin guards to smooth skin and safeguard against irritation; a flip trimmer that allows all five blades to help trim tight spaces; and an ergonomic rubber grip handle.

Meanwhile, the Schick Hydro Silk Disposables offer such benefits as a water-activated moisturizing serum that hydrates with each shave and helps replenish skin’s natural moisture for up to two hours; five curve-sensing blades for a close shave; skin guards to smooth the skin and protect from irritation; a compact oval cartridge shape that fits easily into hard-to-reach areas; and an ergonomic, soft disposable handle.

"With the original Schick Hydro and Schick Hydro Silk, we created razors designed to give our best shave for your skin," stated Joanna DiDomenico, brand manager for Schick Hydro Disposables. "Our philosophy in developing the Schick Hydro 5 and Schick Hydro Silk Disposable razors was that consumers using a disposable deserve the same great technology and skin care benefits as those using a refillable razor."

Plans call for the Schick Hydro 5 Disposables and Schick Hydro Silk Disposables to hit shelves at food, mass and drug store retailers nationwide starting next month.
