Star-studded event in New York City showcases CeraVe’s 20-year journey in skincare

At the core of CeraVe’s success is its signature formulation, pairing three skin-identical ceramides with MVE technology to deliver hydration up to 10 layers deep, all day long.

NEW YORK In celebration of its 20th anniversary on World Skin Health Day, CeraVe hosted a star-studded birthday bash in New York City, drawing renowned dermatologists—such as Dr. Zoe Draelos, Dr. Evan Rieder, Dr. Muneeb Shah, and Professor Michael Cork—as well as social media influencers like Charli D’Amelio and Ari@Home. The event highlighted the brand’s mission to advance accessible, dermatologist-developed skincare and to support its Care For Allinitiative for under-resourced communities globally.

CeraVe’s celebration in New York underscores its remarkable growth from a U.S.-focused, dermatologist-backed niche product line to a global powerhouse boasting over 90 barrier-supporting products and more than $2 billion in global sales last year. Centered on the principle that skin issues often stem from barrier disruption and that replenishing ceramides is key to restoration, the brand remains rooted in its foundational trio: Moisturizing Cream, Moisturizing Lotion, and Hydrating Cleanser.

“CeraVe’s journey began and continues with dermatologists, ensuring superior skin health for all,” said Melanie Vidal, Global General Manager. “Through close collaboration, we’ve transformed their groundbreaking clinical insights into widely accessible, therapeutic solutions that truly enhance lives.”

At the core of CeraVe’s success is its signature formulation, pairing three skin-identical ceramides with MVE technology to deliver hydration up to 10 layers deep, all day long. This technology supports a wide range of consumer needs—from the intensely hydrating AM & PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion to the Anti-Dandruff Shampoo and Conditioner line, which Nielsen named the most successful hair care launch of 2024.

Innovation continues with recent launches, including the Blemish Clay-to-Foam Cleanser, the Balancing Air Foam Facial Cleanser with Glycolysine, and the Hydrocolloid Blemish Barrier Patches, enriched with ceramides and niacinamide. These additions showcase CeraVe’s ongoing commitment to dermatologist-led solutions for evolving skin and scalp needs.
